Product Key Finder gets a list of Microsoft Product Keys for the products currently installed on the executing system.

The purpose of this software is to provide the user with a handy list of the software licenses used on its computer.

For personal use and for small businesses it might be useful to have such a list for your system documentation. It might be valuable in case you have to reenter your Software keys after a system crash.

The list can be printed to the default printer or it can be copied for further use in other applications (e.g. Word or a text editor).

The following information will be provided:

1. Username and Computer name of the system the list has been created.
2. For each registred Microsoft software package:
   1. Product name
   2. Product ID
   3. Product Key

Open Issues:

1. Unknown publisher. Sure, how should the world know about me?
   Will try to find out how to solve this with my rather limited budget.
2. Not all links (in About dialog) are fully qualified (filename missing).
   No big problem, but results in different realms.
3. Link to Description from Setup Page can be blocked by Popub-Blockers.
   No big problem. However, an appropriate comment should be added.
